Amruta is a Graduate Researcher at Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA, USA.

I am currently (as of February 2005) taking a class on " Designing Online Communities (http://www.cc.gatech.edu/classes/AY2005/cs6470_spring/)". The class is taught by Prof. Amy Bruckman (http://www.cc.gatech.edu/~asb/). As a part of this class, i am conducting a study of the Wikipedia community.

I am working with two other colleagues at Georgia Tech. Our study of Wikipedia is part of an overall research project studying several online communities. The project includes observant participation in the Wikipedia community as well as interviews with Wikipedians.
