[edit]editsemiprotected - - - - the articles leaves out "Anything But Mine" as a single on When the Sun Goes Down. Excellent song, not sure where it landed on the charts but I'm sure it was up there. Should be in the article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.26.166.162 (talk) 19:57, 7 November 2009 (UTC)
Chensney breaks foot on Poets & Pirates tour
[edit]Just returned from Williams-Brice Stadium. Chesney broke his foot during the first bars of his opening song. Chesney began talking into his microphone while rising up from below the stage on a hydraulic lift. But he was standing too close to the lip and the toes on his right foot got crushed. Chesney collapsed in pain and remained trapped until stagehands lowered the lift to free his foot. He refused medical treatment and continued the concert. He limped, winced, and often stopped to catch his breath throughout the show. Rob Rosenberger (talk) 06:16, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
Austin City Limits - 2009
[edit]Kenny Chesney will be featured on the hit PBS show, "Austin City Limits" on October 24th, 2009. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mayorofcoolcity (talk • contribs) 20:01, 15 September 2009 (UTC)
Arrest?
[edit]It was a pretty big deal when he got arrested in 2000, and then got Tim McGraw arrested as a result. In fact, to me, that's what I know Kenny Chesney for - I can't name a single Chesney song, but I know him as the country music singer who allegedly tried to steal a police horse. McGraw has a section in his article about his arrest (as does every other famous person who's been arrested ever). I think Chesney should too. Thoughts?--CastAStone//₵₳$↑₳₴₮ʘ№€ 16:56, 1 January 2010 (UTC)
- I agree! This sounds hilarious! I do know Kenny Chesney songs but I was never inspired to wiki him until I heard out about the horse. 66.108.94.198 (talk) 15:42, 11 September 2010 (UTC)

[edit]In the bio box Chesney is listed as "Origin: Johnson City, Tn." Kenny Chesney is from Luttrell, TN (the article even points this out). The only reason he was born in Knoxville (which is ~20-30 mins away is because there are no hospitals in Union Co. where Luttrell is located). A lot of his family still lives here in Union Co.
Also, just FYI: it's common for East Tennesseans regardless of where they are really from to list their origin as Knoxville out of habit simply because no one has heard of places outside Knoxville and have barely heard of Knoxville. And Luttrell is about as small as it gets.
I know this because I reside in Union County where everyone grew up with Chesney.

- In the body of the article, it cites bandbiographies, which states, "Kenny Chesney, born and raised in tiny Luttrell, Tennessee". This is almost certainly wrong, and I doubt that it is a reliable source - however, you have not supplied a source to make the change. Please could you reinstate your request, supported by reliable source(s) - for example, a book or a newspaper article that allows us to verify the facts. Thanks, Chzz ► 07:05, 26 March 2010 (UTC)

How about you leave out any mention of who girlfriend is or is not, since no one knows for sure and he's not talking about it. There are many different rumors floating around and as far as i know, Wikipedia doesn't do rumors, just verified info.

Kenny Chaseney,
[edit]He is an awsome guy and my best singer in the world, but i didn't know that he got arrested for stealing a horse fom a police officer. I still like him as a singer though. I heard on youtube that he broke up with his girl friend because she thought he was gay, but he said he wasn't. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.92.210.237 (talk) 20:51, 22 April 2012 (UTC)
It's well-known in Nashville that he is gay. It's just not spoken of. 2601:140:8302:E260:9CAE:45AA:D927:5B2A (talk) 21:46, 12 July 2016 (UTC)
Sirius/XM radio channel
[edit]On 12 April 2016, at 6PM ET, Kenny's Sirius/XM radio channel, No Shoes Radio (Sirius channel 62), went on the air with an eclectic mix of country, rock, rap, pop, reggae, folk, 80s and oldies music. [1]

No Shoes Nation
[edit]I think a section should be added explaining how Kenny Chesney refers to his fans as "No Shoes Nation" and how he announced this title on tour in Foxborough, MA in 2014. This is important to the article because it has become an integral part of Chesney's identity as an artist. Bm2004 (talk) 19:56, 19 October 2016 (UTC)
