Champs-Élysées → Avenue des Champs-Élysées – It's the official name, whereas "Champs-Élysées" is just the short name for it, see e.g. other avenues of Paris and the other Wikipedias for this article. The Evil IP address (talk) 19:22, 4 January 2014 (UTC)
- Oppose. There's no question in my mind that the WP:COMMONNAME term is Champs-Élysées. I not only doubt that most English speakers would call it the "Avenue des Champs-Élysées", I doubt that most are even aware that's the official name. Msnicki (talk) 21:29, 4 January 2014 (UTC)
- Slight Oppose - It may be the official name, "but Wikipedia does not necessarily use the subject's 'official' name as an article title" (WP:Commonname). 'The Champs-Élysées' is the common name in English at least. -- [[ axg // ✉ ]] 21:31, 4 January 2014 (UTC)
- Oppose Official, but not common. --Երևանցի talk 21:52, 4 January 2014 (UTC)
- Oppose Not common at all. Jaqeli (talk) 21:54, 4 January 2014 (UTC)
- Oppose WP:OFFICIALNAME -- we don't use official names just because they are official; WP:UCN, we use common names -- 76.65.128.112 (talk) 22:00, 4 January 2014 (UTC)
- Oppose. No reason provided why we should not follow WP:COMMONNAME. Vegaswikian (talk) 22:30, 4 January 2014 (UTC)

- I've tweaked the coordinates a bit; but, frankly, the coordinates you've given above are only a matter of meters from the ones that were in the article. Deor (talk) 10:16, 8 May 2015 (UTC)

- There doesn't seem anything wrong with the coordinates in the article. Since you haven't provided an explanation of what you think to be in error, there's nothing that can be done to address your concerns. Deor (talk) 15:19, 11 January 2019 (UTC)
