- I think this is a joke. The same user added her to the list of female superheroes page, and vandalised that page a little too. Dunc_Harris|☺ 14:12, 14 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Looks like someone's attempt at a short story of some sort. This is not Wikistory. — Frecklefoot | Talk 14:50, Jul 14, 2004 (UTC)
- I speedy-deleted it twice today (there was no VfD notice), then had to block the IP of the anon creator, who vandalized several pages on my watchlist. - DavidWBrooks 14:54, 14 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- Did you contact the author? People do recreate pages if they don't know what's happened. Secretlondon 05:28, 17 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Spectatrix 16:20, 2004 Jul 14 (UTC)
- Gonna have to make it a third time. It's back. I asked that it be speedied as well after the main page went down. - Lucky 6.9 18:44, 14 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Not personally convinced that it's a valid speedy, but I don't feel strongly enough either way to object just so long as it goes. It's a fictional short story, certainly not encyclopedic. Unsure whether those promoting it are old established trolls or just newbies who've got off on the wrong foot or a bit of both, it's hard to tell sometimes. Andrewa 04:04, 15 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- I don't think this was a speedy deletion candidate either. It's not patent nonsense. False information is normally corrected rather than obliterated. Secretlondon 05:30, 17 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- Patent nonsense and false information are always valid speedy deletes. RickK 05:39, Jul 15, 2004 (UTC)
- Comment: No. I'm not sure whether this is patent nonsense which is why I said I was unconvinced, but false information is not even grounds for delete let alone speedy. This is important, see the talk page. Andrewa 19:43, 15 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- I can't find anything on google so I presume that she's not a character in a computer game/book etc (I presume you checked right?). So delete. Secretlondon 05:33, 17 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- And I will ask yet again. How do you corect patently false nonsense? There is no way to correct what does not exist. Do we leave an empty article? Do we leave the article as it is with a header at the top that says this information is false? I am not trying to be obtuse, I really don't understand what you people are saying when false information isn't grounds for deletion. Please explain it in words of one syllable, because I'm not getting it. RickK 05:36, Jul 17, 2004 (UTC)
- If I wrote an article on Fred Smith and it said that Fred was the 30th President of the United States, would you say that that article would not be eligible for deletion because it's false? PLEASE explain. RickK 05:44, Jul 17, 2004 (UTC)
- Sure. Of course can be deleted (via VfD) - not via speedy deletions. This is so other people can look at it and see if they agree with you. Secretlondon 05:51, 17 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- OK, what I take you to mean is that this is not a candidate for speedy deletion. You are not saying this is not a candidate for deletion. Am I correct in believing that that is what you are saying? RickK 05:54, Jul 17, 2004 (UTC)
- Yes - its not a candidate for speedy deletion ie one person deletion without anyone else looking at it. It of course is a candidate for deletion (like every other page) - and I voted to delete. Secretlondon 05:58, 17 Jul 2004 (UTC)
