Is it annual?
[edit]hmm, is it june 25 of every year, or only 1987? -- John Joseph Bachir
- haha, i dunno John, seems like a strange holiday, but it's on my birthday so ill celebrate it! -Julian S
Really a holiday?
[edit]Does this fit the definition of a "holiday" ? It seems that the holiday category should only include things that a large number of people regularly celebrate. There are hundreds of "National X Days" and I don't think most people would call those "holidays". (I have nothing against catfish, however, they are quite good!) Jpp42 23:06, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
Is this whole page a joke?
[edit]...or only the part about tying up members of Congress and forcing them to watch Bedtime for Bonzo (which would violate the US Constitutional prohibition against cruel and unusual punishment).
Maybe this page should be moved to the satirical version of Wikipedia (forgot the name).RandallC 12:24, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
Is the date for this holiday correct?
[edit]I was looking into the reason WHY our government wasted time and money making this a real thing, and in doing so, I looked up Joint House Resolution 178 and it says April 4th is National Catfish Day. Did this date later get changed and I'm not seeing this?
