Historical facts:
1- The Kurdistan region was not part of Assyria until after 1350 BCE. Since there was no Assyria before 1365 BCE but the city of Assur which locates in modern Salhadin province and its outside of Iraqi Kurdistan. It should not be on this page.

"In 1365 b.c.e., the city-state of Ashur in upper Mesopotamia gained independence from the powerful kingdom of Mitanni. The warrior who accomplished this was Ashurballit (1363-1328).. Ashurballit's kingdom became known as Assyria."

"Old Assyrian Period here does not refer to Assyria as a territorial state , which only took shape after the period we are dealing with (after 16th century BCE) , but to the city of Assur , the core of a small city - state ."

Regarding Old Assyrian Period: Shamshi Adad didn't build "Old Assyrian Empire" and he didn't name his empire Assyria, this term was used by early Assyriologists and and now its rejected by modern Assyrilogists and recent scholarship and its replaced with kingdom of Upper Mesopotamia. And his kingdom only lasted for 25 years:

2- Kurdistan Region was known as Subartu and it was under the rule of the kingdom of Kurda from Early Bronze Age until it came under the rule of the Mittanians and it was entirely inhabited by non Semitic Hurrian-Speaking Surbarians.

This is true. This page is bogus and is being locked to spread misinformation. Let the people who actually know that region put up the facts. This is wrong and the original poster has no right to do this. Wikipedia only makes it easy by not giving a damn Anonymoosy13 (talk) 20:34, 17 August 2021 (UTC)
This guy doesn't see that the page is LOCKED. "Everybkdy can edit Wikipedia, " what an idiot Anonymoosy13 (talk) 20:35, 17 August 2021 (UTC)
- Hi my very dear Anonymoosy13, well yes everybody is allowed to edit wikipedia, but some articles might be a bit compromised due to some editorial conflict. I have read your comment, but after reading Old Assyrian Empire which existed way before the date you mentioned, and noting that the Asuristan you mentioned isn't mentioned in the article, I didn't really feel compelled by your arguments and quit reading.Paradise Chronicle (talk) 11:22, 20 August 2021 (UTC)
- Ah, and idiot is not really a good way how to address Wikipedia editors:)This kind of behavior might get you into trouble some day. Paradise Chronicle (talk) 11:24, 20 August 2021 (UTC)
- You should write that Peshmerga occupied Kurdistan regions were controlled by Iran from year 1970 to 2005, from 2005 it belongs to Iraq, since Khamenei sold that region to Jalal Talabani, who then sworn as the new president of Iraq. 155.137.27.93 (talk) 16:10, 6 September 2023 (UTC)
- When Jalal Talabani was elected president of Iraq, Kurdistan region automatically belongs to Iraq since then, both officially and un-officially. 155.137.27.93 (talk) 16:12, 6 September 2023 (UTC)
