Welcome to James's page. James is both British and a New Zealander, who was born in 1971. I am currently working in Wellington, New Zealand after completing an MBA.

Life to date

After going to school in England I attended three British university. Having gained a BSc (Hons) 2.1 in Physics, and a teaching qualification a PGCE. I then taught at a public school near Chester for one year. After deciding that a long term career in teaching was not for me, I decided to get into software. I joined a large company based in Birmingham and started working on Lotus Notes projects.

In June 1998 I moved to Wellington, New Zealand and worked for a large financial services company. Here I did a variety of roles, including web development, strategy development, risk management, fraud control and a number of other tasks.

Enjoyment

I am a person who likes the outdoors and activitites such as: mountain biking, cycling, canoeing, land yachting and travel.

I found Wikipedia on 7th September 2004 and can't keep away. There is so much on the site, and so much missing!
