Important notice
[edit]The government section of the "Outline of Honduras" needs to be checked, corrected, and completed -- especially the subsections for the government branches.
When the country outlines were created, temporary data (that matched most of the countries but not all) was used to speed up the process. Those countries for which the temporary data does not match must be replaced with the correct information.
Please check that this country's outline is not in error.

Thank you.
Presidency disputed 2009
[edit]Other articles, and the template in this one, say the presidency is disputed. --Ong saluri (talk) 06:41, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
Bias and POV in history section
[edit]The history section has weasel words and a number of issues. It is likely that the entire section needs a rewrite. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.134.241.22 (talk) 15:27, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
None of the USAID citations lead to any information. All links go to the main page, which has no redirects to any details or numbers. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.245.49.81 (talk) 14:35, 23 June 2014 (UTC)

Standardize list of political parties
[edit]I know next to nothing about Honduran politics, so I'm ill-suited to make any sort of substantive/content change here. My issue is more to do with the template, of how the parties are listed.
Each party is identified by name, both in English and Spanish, along with the date of their founding. Easy enough. But the 'National Party' is distinguished as "Dominated Honduran politics from 1933-1957", while the 'Democratic Unification Party' entry gives the circumstances under which it was founded, and the 'Innovation and Unity Party' identifies where it falls on the political spectrum ("moderate leftist, social democratic").
All of this information (and much more) can no doubt be found on each party's individual Wikipedia entry. This is supposed to be only a cursory glance, a summarized list. We should standardize precisely what information is given for each of the parties and stick to that template. PublicolaMinor (talk) 06:59, 18 May 2016 (UTC)
- The whole section is very outdated. Up to 2013 election the party system was relavtively stable, now there are far more parties in the fray. --Soman (talk) 16:15, 18 May 2016 (UTC)
