The Grace Hopper Myth
[edit]When Grace Hopper recorded the death of that famous moth, she did not, as legend has it, invent the term "computer bug". The word "bug" was already common slang for electronic glitches, especially in radar sets. Hopper was simply making a joke.
How about the Bulgarian coup d'état of 1944?
[edit]It was a major shuffle that turned the country's history for 55 years and the event that brought the Bulgarian Communist Party in government, making Bulgaria part of the post-WWII Eastern bloc for the entirety of the Cold War. Also, I think my article is pretty decent in explaining the coup. As a whole, I do believe the event was at least as notable as some revolt of smelly prisoners-gone-bad, a political assassination or the usual car bomb assault, even probably as much as the admission of Cali or the death of a Scottish king. If I get no objections, I'll just be bold and add it in a few hours :) Todor→Bozhinov 16:39, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
