Jalalia (Urdu: جلاليه) is a village located in Chhachh Valley, the northern part of Attock District of the Punjab, Pakistan. It lies close to the borders of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.[1]

Jalalia village is located in Chhachh, in the northern part of Attock District in Punjab province of Pakistan, close to the border of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (North-West Frontier) Province. Jalalia is one of the biggest village in Chach with a population of nearly 12,000.
Etymology
[edit]The name of Jalalia comes from Jalal Khan. There are mohallas such as Aka khel, Ganjal, Utman-khel, Dehari Sirra Abdur-Rahman and Kashmir abad. Majority of the population of Jalalia has Pakhtun roots who follow the Pashtunwali code. There are other tribes, such as Swatis and Kochian. The residents of this village primarily speak Hindko while some can speak Pashto.
