Idaho Spud
[edit]Sorry, but I'm a little giddy over the sudden turbo speed here. I'm just curious as to how you know the 1918 date. --Mothperson 01:21, 17 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Response: The 1918 date for the first production of the Idaho Spud comes from the manufacturer's Web site: https://www.idahospud.com/products.htm I googled the previous date of 1926 and could find no references to the candy bar being introduced during this year. So I presumed that the 1926 date was incorrect. --Ian Morris 01:41, 17 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Idiot me. I think I was trusting Steve Almond too much, and didn't even bother to look at the website. But the guy had to have been delirious, coconut-hater or not. Thanks for your eagle eye. --Mothperson 02:20, 17 Jun 2005 (UTC)
