User:Richard75 wants to capitalize Peter's Corollary, Peter's Plateau and Peter Principle, I assume because they're proper nouns. I had taken the caps out because Peter principle in the title and lead of the article is not capitalized as a proper noun so I assumed we were not dealing with a proper nouns here. If you disagree, first have a look at List of eponymous laws for other examples. ~Kvng (talk) 14:40, 25 March 2022 (UTC)
- The list convinced me to change it back. Richard75 (talk) 14:46, 25 March 2022 (UTC)
Wikipedia Can't Identify Satire.
[edit]Like the Dunning-Kruger "Effect," which Wikipedia also gets completely wrong, the Peter "Principle" is not any "a concept in management developed by Laurence J. Peter." It is a satire on the fatuous rhetorics of management, self-improvement, and lunatic positivity which litter the pretend-academia of the popular press.
The authors of this article fall for it, open-eyed, faces in search of a pie.
The article should be withdrawn and replaced with one identifying the satire.

- The article literally says it's satire in the second paragraph of the lede. Richard75 (talk) 17:11, 4 November 2022 (UTC)
