Personal life

Another of her blowups almost killed Sam Wood, who was a keen anti-Communist. He dropped dead from a heart attack shortly after a raging argument with Sullavan, who had refused to fire a writer on a proposed film on account of his right-wing views.[28]

This passage is a little confusing. It sounds like Sullavan refused to fire a writer for his right-wing views and that this angered anti-Communist Sam Wood. Could it be she refused to hire the writer? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.76.187.11 (talk) 22:45, 7 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
