Hi, "Pretzelpaws" and welcome to Wikipedia. A few tips for you:

. Cheers, -- Infrogmation 16:10, 24 Aug 2004 (UTC)

Hi, Pretzelpaws :) Welcome from me too. Thanks for the image on Lesbian, but I'm not sure that it's the best image to have (in terms of representativeness). I don't think we should remove it though! Regardless, can I get your input on Talk:Lesbian? Thanks, and keep editing. Dysprosia 04:08, 9 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Where have you gone

[edit]

Pretzelpaws - where have you gone off to? →Raul654 01:45, August 14, 2005 (UTC)

Vacationing in SoCal and Arizona, and taking many photos, some of which I will add to Wikipedia in the near future. Pretzelpaws 23:25, 15 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

nice

[edit]

Wow: Image:Percival lowell mausoleum.jpg - nice picture! (Also a better-than-average mausoleum....) - Nunh-huh 05:37, 17 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! Pretzelpaws 05:42, 17 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Shibaricon

[edit]

I just wanted to ask you, you were the initial creator of Shibaricon, how did you find out about it? Were you an organiser, or a guest? Or did you just happen to find out about it while surfing the web? JIP | Talk 19:01, 4 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I found out about Shibaricon from the Yahoo! Group AdultRopeARt early in 2004. I have subsequentially attended both Shibaricon events. Pretzelpaws 05:53, 7 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your reply. As you can see, I am the initial creator of BoundCon. I found out about it on a BDSM website. I missed the first BoundCon but attended the second one. JIP | Talk 06:28, 7 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

PSPACE

[edit]

I'm not reverting your edit to quantified boolean formula, since it's not incorrect, but the original text was also correct. "Unlimited time" is assumed if no time bound is specified, and PSPACE is the same whether a deterministic or a nondeterministic machine is used (it is not the union of the languages recognised by deterministic machines in polynomial space and nondeterministic machines in polynomial space; rather, PSPACE = NPSPACE). Sorry if PSPACE did not make this clear; I'll revise it a bit. Deco 20:08, 15 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The original definition referred to

solvable by a polynomial-time, deterministic machine in polynomial space.

and polynomial-time is not unlimited time so that is why I changed it; perhaps the

or a nondeterministic

part should be put in parentheses in both articles to make clean that it is a don't care rather than a union. Pretzelpaws 23:18, 15 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I tagged the article principally because it's so patently ridiculous. There are euphamisms for basically every event that occurs in life. Compiling a list just seems plain stupid to me. I'll make sure to note such observations on the talk page in the future. Cheers. Jackk 22:35, 23 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Foreshore

[edit]

Hi, You're the original creator of the entry "foreshore." Currently, there is discussion about combining it with "Intertidal" which refers to the same place. The benefit would be to have one entry that could be improved more quicly. Do you have any thoughts on this?

IASA

[edit]

Created the International Aviation Safety Assessment Program as a stub. Cheers! --Oden 17:04, 27 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Great! I've moved it to my "improve" list. Now if only someone would create the other articles on my "create" list I could drop in some pictures without having to write text :) Pretzelpaws 19:40, 27 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image:Lesbians Folsom Fair 2004.jpg listed for deletion

[edit]

An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, Image:Lesbians Folsom Fair 2004.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please see the discussion to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. AfD nomination of Monoglove

[edit]

I have nominated Monoglove, an article you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Monoglove. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. NowCommons: File:Renfair swordfight.jpg

[edit]

File:Renfair swordfight.jpg is now available on Wikimedia Commons as Commons:File:Renaissance fair swordfight.jpg. This is a repository of free media that can be used on all Wikimedia wikis. The image will be deleted from Wikipedia, but this doesn't mean it can't be used anymore. You can embed an image uploaded to Commons like you would an image uploaded to Wikipedia, in this case: [[File:Renaissance fair swordfight.jpg]]. Note that this is an automated message to inform you about the move. This bot did not copy the image itself. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:45, 2 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Imperial sand dunes.jpg - Confirmation of CC licence for use in a infographic.

[edit]

Hi there,

My names Ian, I work for a small infographic studio (NeoMam) in Manchester, UK. We're making an infographic about star wars travel locations and would like to use a small version of your image to illustrate one of the items on the list.

We are going to distribute the work under CC-BY-SA 3.0 so I believe it's in line with the licence under which you've released it under.

However we always like to double check these things, it would attributed in the following manner on the graphic:

Imperial Sand Dunes / Pretzelpaws / Wikimedia Commons / CC-BY-SA 3.0 / Image has been resized

If you'd like to see examples of this on the graphic, please contact me at my user page and I'll be more than happy to send examples.

Please let me know if this is OK or if you'd like it to be attributed in a different way.

Thanks, Ian

Your photo

[edit]

I'm writing an article about animators and railroads for the magazine "Live Steam and Outdoor Railroading", and would like to use your photo of Ward Kimball's "Emma Nevada" as an illustration. That should be OK, seeing that it is under CCASA license - but a question: Would you like to be credited with your real name, or just your wiki pseudonym? You can email me your answer to steam at sci dot fi. Thanks! --Janke | Talk 15:12, 7 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of IBill

[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on IBill, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Notice

The article Law enforcement jargon has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

One sentence stub page, has no real purpose for existing unless further edits are made. Other pages do it's job better

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. PogMoment (talk) 18:33, 3 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It was a useful non-stub article until the content was deleted on 4 September 2022‎. Maybe restore to an earlier version before arguing whether the article should exist. - PretzelPaws (still trying to recover my login credentials) 2600:1700:5433:8410:0:0:0:1B (talk) 20:30, 10 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
