Politics and Neutrality
[edit]Please do not and I repeat DO NOT place the names of the incumbent political figures in this entry. This violates, to my opinion the neutrality of the article as this is self-serving for one reason or another, furthermore the names of all the incumbent figures are not relevant to Iloilo province's wikipedia entry.

Pranks and Mischievous Edits
[edit]If anyone sees an edit reverting the name of isla Pan de Azucar (Sugarloaf island) to Pan de Monay (roughly translated as women's-private-part loaf in hiligaynon) please revert to Pan de Azucar. Pan de Monay as an island in the Province of Iloilo does not exist, -or-, I haven't heard of it at all.
Any comments would be appreciated by editing this talk page.

What is the status of this place? --Howard the Duck 14:59, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
I'm new to wikipedia but had to register because I wish someone would correct erroneous information entered in Iloilo's history as fact, specifically pertaining to the Code of Kalantiaw - which has already been uncovered as mere fabrication. I cannot currently cite sources as I'm not knowledgeable in history as much as I want to be, but if someone could correct information in this article. Please?

Regarding your question on Jaro's Status, yes Jaro is a district within Iloilo City and it is part of Metro Iloilo. (I'm not sure with what you meant by its status btw) --JohnAriola 10:37, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
Update: Jaro was a city apart from Iloilo Circa 1897, during the American Era, iloilo was demoted with Jaro remaining a city, its status was reversed later with Jaro being absorbed into the newly reelevated city of Iloilo. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JohnAriola (talk • contribs) 06:03, 12 October 2014 (UTC)
Follow up question... district within Iloilo City? I thought Iloilo City is a lone district? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.87.198.122 (talk) 15:44, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
