Jerome West
I am a Digital Strategist, SEO specialist, Lead Generation specialist, web and multimedia designer/developer living in Johannesburg, South Africa for the last 3 decades after moving up from the south coast of KwaZulu-Natal. My pet project is a daily photo blog at One Day in the Life of Jerome which started on the 1 January 2007 and depicts one photo per day from my life, well much more now.
I discovered wikis when a client asked me for one for their website. The client gave me wikipedia.org as an example when I returned a blank look. The following week wikipedia won a Webby award so I had to go look for myself. Since May 2004 I have since become addicted to wikipedia and to the way information has become accessible to the masses.
I started editing on 19 May 2004 and passed the 9000 edit mark. (see: X!'s Edit Counter)
My contributions so far have been centered around my love for Africa. I have compiled this list (most of them stubs) below so that I can find articles that I am still working on quickly.
