Article contains links to "Pressenza", Russian disinfo "laundromat" fake source.

[edit]

Pressenza is a Kremlin propaganda operation run by several companies under the direction of the Russian government, known to publish extensive disinformation and fake news for the Russian state. The same link to the same article has been inserted into numerous Wikipedia articles with malicious intent or to lend credence/citation to Pressenza. It should be removed from the article. "According to the U.S. State Department, Pressenza is part of a project, run by three Russian companies, that planned to create articles in Moscow and then translate them for these “native” sites, following Chinese practice, to make them seem “local.”

Ongoing coup

[edit]

I'll leave those more knowledgeable to correct errors but I just want to remind everyone not to jump the shark in making edits too quickly - someone has already changed the president to the coup leader despite the fact Lucho still seems to be in power (the situation is changing of course so I may be wrong on that). 2.30.72.156 (talk) 21:13, 26 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Territorial losses to Argentina

[edit]

Requesting editors' views on the accuracy of the map shown here using File:Map Bolivia territorial loss-en.svg. The map here seems to show a different area, as well as this one and this one. Politheory1983 (talk) 15:12, 11 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Flag

[edit]

Why does the flag keep changing? I think we should stick with the flag that doesn’t have the coat of arms 2603:8080:D03:89D4:340F:F850:71E5:C9C2 (talk) 21:14, 11 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Why? The CIA Factbook says the flag has the emblem. See this. DeCausa (talk) 21:25, 11 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Because most of the time the article shows the flag without the emblem. I think we should add the flag with the emblem and without the emblem 2603:8080:D03:89D4:340F:F850:71E5:C9C2 (talk) 22:51, 11 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No, that's impractical. We just need to establish WP:CONSENSUS based on reliable sources which to use. I've had a look around for sources. Britannica displays the one with the emblem and describes it as the flag in the text.[1] In the caption it also says the emblem is added when displayed by the government. The CIA Factbook as I referred to above also has the version with the emblem. We need to stop this slow edit war. If consensus can't be established i this thread, I'll launch an WP:RFC.
