Is the second paragraphy useful here? It already weakens its own statement (bringing in Spanish) and all other languages I speak have an equally big number of possibilities to write the same sound (f.e. French). Jeronimo
- Going back to the original version, it looks like the intent was to note that English has a number of digraphs for sounds that can be directly expressed using the Latin alphabet (ph = f; -gh = f; ee = i; ea = i; oo=u; etc). --Brion
