Note to anyone else who wants to work on this article: A lot of the internet sources I found on this ship had conflicting information. Even sources that ought to be reputable (Houghton Mifflin, some government sites, and a guy who claimed to have done a lot of research on the subject) couldn't agree on how many were in the crew, how many survived, how many days the crew drifted on the lifeboat, and other details. I solved this merely by being vague or avoiding any details that didn't seem certain. At some point, I may get really ambitious and go do some serious research, and see if I can't set the record straight. If not, the article as it stands gives all the information that's really important. Isomorphic04:00, 4 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
