Has some coverage but not enough for WP:SPORTBASIC, in my view. FCPSR and Student Sport both mention him but it's really just trivial match report coverage rather than anything substantial. Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 15:13, 2 November 2024 (UTC)

- Ronen's golden rule for cluster radioactivity (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) – (View AfD | edits since nomination)
- (Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL)
This rule strikes me as extremely technically specific and of interest to very few people. I can find references to it in only three sources:
- Y. Ronen (1991), Phys. Rev. C 44, R594(R)
- O. Tavares, L. Roberto, and E. Medeiros (2007), Phys. Scr. 76, 375
- O. Tavares and E. Medeiros (2012), Phys. Scr. 86, 015201
The article has only three sentences, and I don't see what more could be added about the topic given its sparse coverage in the sources (in fact, much of the aricle seems to be wrong; as far as I can tell, Ronen's golden rule is much simpler and should be described in just one sentence). Thus, I've added a description of the rule to Cluster decay and propose that this article be deleted. Justin Kunimune (talk) 14:23, 2 November 2024 (UTC)

Although the text provides a brief overview of her career and projects, it lacks significant coverage from independent, reliable sources, which is essential for establishing notability in an encyclopedic context. The information presented largely relies on self-reported achievements and lacks third-party validation, which raises concerns about the reliability of the content. Furthermore, while Wei may have contributions in her field, there is insufficient evidence of widespread recognition or impact, particularly in a competitive area such as food journalism. Her book, “Made in Taiwan,” is mentioned but has not been substantiated by notable reviews that would warrant an encyclopedic entry. In light of these deficiencies, the article could mislead readers into perceiving her as a figure of significant prominence, which she has not demonstrated through independent sources. Therefore, it is appropriate to remove this entry to uphold Wikipedia's standards for verifiable content and to prevent the dilution of the platform with non-notable subjects.

- Speedy Keep per WP:CSK#3. The nomination rationale seems to be AI-generated and is entirely erroneous. I checked the first three sources cited in this version of the article (Salon.com, Eater, and KQED), and they are clearly reliable sources with SIGCOV. Her book Made in Taiwan was also reviewed by Los Angeles Times and Atlas Obscura, with those reviews also included in the article. GNG and WP:AUTHOR are obviously met. The only edits made by User:Atlantaborn are removing sourced content from this article (which I have restored) and filing for its deletion. —Prince of Erebor(The Book of Mazarbul) 14:09, 2 November 2024 (UTC)

- Delete – The article fails to demonstrate notability and doesn't reflect her standing within food journalism. - Delete – Wei is more of a minor player in food journalism and writing. Although she’s done some work in this space, there just isn’t enough independent coverage from major publications that you’d expect for someone who's truly notable, besides book promotion PR. A lot of the articles come off as self-promotional, which doesn’t really paint her as a widely recognized figure in the industry. Towardsthemoon(Talk to Towards the moon) 14:55, 2 November 2024 (UTC)

The subject clearly fails to meet the WP:GNG (general notability guideline) and WP:NACTOR (notability for actors) standards. Coverage is limited to routine mentions, and most sources lack reliability per WP:RS (reliable sources). Additionally, many of the news articles appear to be paid content and include disclaimers indicating as such. Baqi:) (talk) 13:20, 2 November 2024 (UTC)

- Delete: The current sources in the article are generally unreliable, except for a Bollywood Hungama video and a Zee News article. However, the Zee News article is about the song “Tu Rooh Mein Samaya” and does not provide significant coverage of the subject. Additionally, I was unable to find significant coverage from reliable, independent sources during my search. Therefore, the article fails to meet WP:GNG, and since the subject has no lead roles in multiple notable films, it also fails WP:NACTOR. GrabUp - Talk 14:17, 2 November 2024 (UTC)

- Comment: as the article creator, I'm not particularly invested in this one. I basically created the article as an (unsolicited and unrewarded) favour for his then-webmaster because I thought a wikilink from Ilizarov apparatus would be better than a link to his website there; see the conversations at User talk:Szlimblengthening and my early-2009 talk page archive. I only ended up with the relevant articles on my watchlist due to unhelpful edits. I don't think I would have created this article under the same circumstances today, at least without doing a very deep WP:BEFORE check first. Graham87 (talk) 12:39, 19 October 2024 (UTC)

Article based upon a 1 month old paper. While it has minor attention in pop science press, its Altmetric of 76 is not particularly high (it would need 200-300). - Unsure - for me the difficulty is that this is WP:TOOSOON (yes I know that's an essay that's not about scientific research, it just seems appropriate) so we don't know how much lasting importance there is about this discovery. I think an argument can be made for !keep given it has been peer reviewed, !delete because it is really just a small number of scientists saying it is important or !draft on the basis it might soon be shown to be important. I'm not sure how to parse it. JMWt (talk) 13:47, 26 October 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: it is very, very rare to have articles just because they are reviewed, we require extensive secondary sources. TOOSOON is very commonly applied to scientific research. Ldm1954 (talk) 14:18, 26 October 2024 (UTC)

In a previous AfD, a clear consensus emerged that this biography did not meet WP:BIO1E, and it was merged to Tolui.
The author of the recreated article claims that this woman is identical to another woman of a similar name. This is pure original research. They claim that this source "confirms Eltina or Aylt'ana was Altani", when in reality it does no such thing: is a chapter about transliterations of names.
I suggest that this page on the "first Altani" be restored to the original merge, and see if the "second Altani" has independent notability. ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 11:30, 2 November 2024 (UTC)

- Delete I must say I'm baffled. An earlier attempt was speedied. The author then created this directly in the main space, from where it was draftified. I advised them against trying to create this directly, on account of their COI, and the next thing I find out they've gone ahead and done just that. So apart from anything else, I think the author should give some undertaking not to keep creating this, because otherwise we're just chasing our tails here. I don't think there's much point in draftifying this, as another copy already exists in the draft space; let's just figure out whether the subject is notable, and delete if not. For now, I'm saying delete as non-notable, because there's nothing in the draft as it currently stands that would suggest otherwise. --DoubleGrazing (talk) 14:01, 2 November 2024 (UTC)

- (Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL)
My first thoughts as a yachtsman were "Is there a yacht club on Hydra at all? It's a small island. ... And if there is, why isn't the club in Hydra port, the main port? Which by itself isn't big. ... And if the club was established in 1956, why don't I remember Axel Jensen or Leonard Cohen mentioning it?"
Kamini is a picturesque village at 37°20′52″N 23°27′26″E / 37.3479°N 23.4571°E,[1] about 1 kilometre (0.62 miles) west of Hydra port. Judging by photos, the small fishing harbour has only room for 25-30 boats in the 3–10 metres (9.8–32.8 ft) range. With a max. depth of c. 2 metres (6.6 ft)[2] the harbour would offer mooring to only the smallest visiting yachts. Which in reality I don't think it does.
Let's look at the sources. There are zero Gbook sources that mention Kamini Yacht Club. For a club that was founded in 1956, and has "secondary clubhouses in London, England and Cornwall, England for overseas members", that is inconceivable. ("Secondary clubhouse in Cornwall", yeah, right!) The article was created in August 2009. Doing a time-restricted Google search for web sources dated before 1 January 2009, there are zero hits. All other later hits are mere regurgitations of the article. (On a side note, the burgee looks like something from a kids' beach party, and IP 86.163.152.57 was about right when the reduced the stub to saying "The Kamini Yacht Club is not a yacht club." (diff).)
This article looks like it deserves to be moved to Wikipedia:List of hoaxes on Wikipedia/Kamini Yacht Club, and with an age of 15 years, 2 months and 14 days also get an entry at Wikipedia:List of hoaxes on Wikipedia#Extant for 10+ years.

There are no reliable references or review from Chennai Online for this article. Most of the sources are unreliable (Behindwoods, Indiaglitz, Filmibeat) as per [5] per Wikipedia:WikiProject Film/Indian cinema task force. Only sources are about lead actor Ajay Pradeep eve teasing at a college [6] [7] [8], which is his personal life and not about the film (passing mention).
Save the article by adding reliable sources such as Kalki review. Cinesouth review can also help. Tamil search yields nothing useful [9]. DareshMohan (talk) 07:01, 2 November 2024 (UTC)

This siege, its relief and the evacuation of the population is covered in a short paragraph in the comprehensive two-volume US history of these wars, Balkan Battlegrounds. It doesn't include much of what is in the current paragraph headed Order of battle, and when summarised would amount to a few sentences at best. A Google Books search adds very little in terms of possible reliable sources, none of which constitute significant coverage. I could trim it down to just what the source does say, but the editor responsible has done this before, and therefore this is a classic WP:TNT candidate. Its not the minor action because a lot of civis were saved and both sides took heavy casulties. There are also not so much books about this war in english because nobody cares to be honest about balkans. I agree that is bad if we have only 1 english and 10 serb sources on english wiki but the other articles for other side also have just some tabloid blogs and they are not deleted or even marked as "bad sources", is it a coincidence? - Forbes lists her as the 16th, alphabetically, in a list of 50 most powerful women in Asia which explicitly says that it "is presented alphabetically and is not intended to be a ranking" (even if a Forbes India writer seems to misunderstand this). I corrected the statement in the "Recognition" section, but hadn't noticed that it was also misprepresented in the lead, which I have now corrected. The enthusiasm which some editors have for misrepresenting this listing makes one cautious about other claims, which should all be very carefully checked. PamD 13:06, 24 October 2024 (UTC)

The supposed subject of this article is not mentioned in the comprehensive two-volume US history of the wars in the Balkans (Balkan Battlegrounds), and a Google Books search results in no hits. Even the village of Skabrnja isn't mentioned in BB. If this isn't a hoax, it is a non-notable firefight that hasn't been documented outside the village in which it allegedly occurred. Fails WP:NCORP. I noticed this was nominated over 10 years ago with a decision to keep. However those sources fail WP:SIRS as they are not in-depth. The criteria for companies are much more stringent now. Imcdc Contact 04:06, 2 November 2024 (UTC)

E-safety authority, has not been formally established. While it has been approved in a cabinet meeting, this does not constitute actual creation. Wikibear47 (talk) 03:36, 26 October 2024 (UTC)

- Comment Whether an organisation has officially commenced operations or not is not relevant to notability. The fact that it is a government agency with a legal basis means it is highly likely to commence operations, anyway. We need to know whether the authority has received significant coverage in multiple reliable secondary sources. AusLondonder (talk) 08:15, 26 October 2024 (UTC)
- Well a point I forgot to mention is that usually as per my knowledge after cabinet approval the act has to pass through parliament to come into force. Cabinet approval means that the Federal Cabinet has no issue with the act. Wikibear47 (talk) 08:27, 26 October 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: It's a proposed entity that has received some coverage in 2023, but I don’t believe it meets NORG since there isn’t any sustained coverage. Imv, it falls under WP:TOOSOON. — Saqib (talk I contribs) 08:38, 26 October 2024 (UTC)
- Delete: As an only proposed government entity, it is WP:TOOSOON for this article. - UtherSRG (talk) 11:18, 26 October 2024 (UTC)
- Draftifying would be an acceptable WP:ATD. - UtherSRG (talk) 14:45, 2 November 2024 (UTC)
- Draftify: as an ATD. I agree with the TOOSOON concerns and there's been no coverage of this agency since the announcement that I can see. voorts (talk/contributions) 14:09, 26 October 2024 (UTC)

Unsourced stub for a word (Korean word for "province"); more suitable for Wiktionary (WP:NOTDICT). Propose redirect to Provinces of Korea. RachelTensions (talk) 02:54, 2 November 2024 (UTC)
- Comment I’m happy with the proposed redirect, but you don’t need an AfD for a redirect, see WP:BRD. Mccapra (talk) 04:45, 2 November 2024 (UTC)

I am unable to find any significant coverage of this locomotive in secondary sources. Only possible ATD I can think of is a redirect to Falk Archaeological District but that's not a great option as it isn't mentioned there. Trainsandotherthings (talk) 02:43, 2 November 2024 (UTC)

- Merge to Falk Archaeological District (but trim down and add appropriate inline citations). Agreed that the level of sourcing does not justify an article of this length. WeirdNAnnoyed (talk) 11:32, 2 November 2024 (UTC)

Non-notable, short-lived rail maintenance spot on an abandoned minor railroad, not a "community". A few references could be found: [10], [11], [12], but these appear to be amateur blogs and/or trivial mentions, not significant, secondary coverage in RS. Previous AfD returned no consensus, based mostly on the argument that documentation of the place exists; however, I would argue the coverage is not significant and not reliable. The place undoubtedly existed, but without coverage in RS, there is nothing we can say. WeirdNAnnoyed (talk) 01:25, 2 November 2024 (UTC)

- A rail yard can certainly be a notable topic (I've written a number of such articles, one even made it to FA status) but it absolutely should not be treated like a populated place. A redirect to McCloud Railway appears to be the best option here in the absence of any evidence of significant coverage. I did some searches for "hambone yard" and "hambone rail yard" hoping to turn up something and came up empty-handed. For comparison, take a look at the plethora of results when I search for an actually notable rail yard. Trainsandotherthings (talk) 14:11, 2 November 2024 (UTC)

- Keep, found several newspaper sources in just the first few pages: "BRILLIANT FUTURE FOR SHIRLEY BEGAN 'AS A BIT OF FUN'". Leicester Chronicle. 29 May 1970. p. 28. Retrieved 11 Oct 2024. "PENTATHLON WIN FOR SHIRLEY CLELLAND". Leicester Mercury. 24 Aug 1970. p. 22. Retrieved 11 Oct 2024. "SHIRLEY CLELLAND WINS TWO EVENTS". Leicester Mercury. 23 Sep 1968. p. 24. Retrieved 11 Oct 2024.
- I find that the NATH guideline is pretty conservative compared to the others at NSPORT, so it's worth trying multiple search engines if you can't find sources at one. For example NATH says that 4th-placers at the Olympics can't necessarily be presumed to have coverage, but I've yet to find one without GNG sources after searching so far. --Habst (talk) 12:29, 11 October 2024 (UTC)

- Yes, but I've searched even pre-WWII Olympics to see if there's a non-notable 4th placer and have yet to find one. I agree that in general prewar Olympics were less notable, I just don't think the line should have been drawn at 4th place. --Habst (talk) 12:48, 23 October 2024 (UTC)
