Wondering how to edit this U.S. County Entry?
The WikiProject U.S. Counties standards might help.
Notable people
[edit]Currently, the "Notable residents and natives" links to Hagerstown, but there is more to Washington County than Hagerstown. As a result, it's unclear where to list people from the county. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Leavittdc (talk • contribs) 20:24, 2 June 2021 (UTC)
Incorrect Flag of Washington County
[edit]The flag currently displayed on this page seems to be incorrect. According to the official website of Washington county, there should be nine stars on the flag, not the five shown on this page:
"The stars stand for the nine incorporated towns in Washington County. The larger star is for Hagerstown, our County Seat, while the small stars represent Boonsboro, Clear Spring, Funkstown, Hancock, Keedysville, Sharpsburg, Smithsburg and Williamsport."
We need to correct the graphic. Waterfire (talk) 01:04, 14 May 2023 (UTC)
